Hawleysflex non asbestos joint sheeting and gasket material is made from a mix of Kevlar, Graphite, NBR and synthetic fibers formed under high temperature and pressure. It has great strength, pressure and temperature ratings. It is easy to cut with sizzors as it has no tang so ideal for making hand made gaskets (it wont chip and flake like normal graphite sheeting). It comes standard in 1500mm x 1500mm sheets that can be rolled for easy storage and shipping. This is the perfect all round gasket material as it can handle such a wide range of temperatures, pressure and media. If there is one gasket material to take in your tool box this is it as it is very easy to cut, wont flake like other graphite materials and can handle just about anything. It is the great allrounder.
